About Us

The Crowsnest Pass forms the boundary between the central and southern Rockies and offers some of the best recreation opportunities in Canada. Beautiful scenery, unparalleled ecological diversity, a lack of crowds, and friendly folk make for a truly enjoyable experience. Combined with a rich and exciting history of explorers, coal mining, and rum running the Crowsnest Pass is an area full of a variety of recreational experiences.

Treadsoftly has been guiding backcountry adventures in the magnificent Rocky Mountains in this backcountry playground in southwest Alberta, Canada since 1997. We offer a variety of  backcountry experiences from world-class walk and wade fly-fishing to hiking and mountain biking the endless kilometres of scenic and exciting terrain that surrounds us.

We offer our experiences like fly-fishing, mountain biking, hiking, photo tours, and more in both pre-packaged and customized tours. Join us for spectacular mountain bike rides, remote hikes, incredible photo tours, or fly-fishing on world-class fly-fishing streams.

Top off your experience of a lifetime with the pleasant facilities and excellent services in the friendly communities of the Crowsnest Pass, that present an unrushed small town charm and a genuineness not found in established resort centres.
